H.E. Mr. Sengphet Houngboungnuang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR to S.R of Vietnam welcomed H.E. Mr. Dato’ Tan Yang Thai, the new Designated Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to the S.R of Vietnam and Lao PDR on February 08, 2023, at the Embassy of Lao PDR in Hanoi.

          The purposes of visit are cordial greetings to Lao Ambassador and exchanging the valuable experiences of diplomatic cycle in Vietnam as well as deepening understanding on the bilateral relations between Laos-Malaysia and Laos-Vietnam.

          Lao Ambassador praised and congratulated Malaysian Ambassador on the occasion of his appointment to be as Ambassador Extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Malaysia to the S.R of Vietnam and be confident that the friendly relations between Malaysia and Vietnam will be deepened and greater under his leadership and tenure.

On December 11, 2022, at the Diplomatic Compound, Hanoi, the Embassy of Lao PDR to S.R of Vietnam took part and contributed in the Internaitonal Food Festival 2022 together with foreign embassies and international community based in Hanoi in order to raise up the awareness of public diplomacy and exchange culture, traditional and national food to local and international visitors. 

In this occasion, the Embassy of Lao PDR in hanoi donated some amount of money to the Foundation of Disable Person Assistance as well as Lao traditional Dance performance and cooking some Lao traditional food to share and exchange in the event, particularly Larb, papaya salad, Grilled sticky rice with taro, Laotian beef jerky, custard sticky rice, coconut cream cake, crispy skin pork and so forth. this event is organized by the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.

Mr. Yaron Mayer, the new Designated Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Srael to S.R of Vietnam and Lao PDR on September 20, 2022, at the Embassy of Lao PDR in Hanoi.

         The purposes of visit are cordial greetings to Lao Ambassador and exchanging the valuable experiences of diplomatic cycle in Vietnam as well as seeking further information for presenting the Credential Letter to the President of Lao PDR in order to be as Designated Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Lao PDR.

         Lao Ambassador praised and congratulated Israel Ambassador on the occasion of his appointment to be as Ambassador Extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to S.R of Vietnam and Lao PDR and be confident that the friendly relations between Laos and Israel will be deepened and greater under his leadership and tenure.
